Delete your FoodFavs account
Two ways to delete your account. Both wipe your data immediately and cannot be undone.
1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)
Open FoodFavs on your device and go to:
- Tap the Profile tab
- Scroll to Danger zone
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm twice when prompted
Your account and all personal data — dish logs, restaurant notes, family members, badges — are erased immediately.
2. Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address attached to your FoodFavs account:
We confirm receipt within 2 business days and delete the account within 30 days, as required by applicable privacy laws.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials
- All dish logs and ratings
- Restaurant notes and personal tags
- Family members you've added
- Badges and contribution history
- Subscription is canceled (no further charges from us — manage App Store or Play Store subscription cancellation directly in those apps)
What we keep
Community-contributed restaurant menus you uploaded remain in the shared database with your name removed (attribution unlinked). This preserves the menu data for other users without retaining your personal identification.
